Now that the red carpet has come and gone, and the 2019 CFDA Awards have finally started, we can sit back, relax, and do some trend talk. While this year's red carpet was certainly an eclectic one as far as shapes, colors, and themes go, there was one overarching trend we could not ignore: pants. Whether in the form of an evening jumpsuit, two-piece suit, or even coated jeans, pant legs were the trend of 2019.
Everyone from celebrities like Gigi Hadid to industry icons like Eva Chen showed up in the unconventional red carpet trend that always makes our eyes widen. Thanks to designers like Off-White, Monse, and Pyer Moss, these red carpet pant moments we speak of are not regular red carpet pant moments. They're some of the chicest we've ever seen.
