7 Shocking Trends Celebrities Are Wearing to Restaurants
Dining out in a city like New York, Los Angeles, Paris, or London (among others) can be quite an event. When a celebrity visits a packed It spot, it's safe to assume that there will be plenty of paparazzi surrounding the valet stand or entrance and that they will be recognized once inside as well. Therefore, they know to dress for the occasion and in turn, we're graced with epic restaurant outfit photos on pretty much a daily basis.
I don't know if you've noticed, but it seems as if post-pandemic lockdowns, celebrity restaurant outfits are getting more and more, well, flashy. (For the record, I tried to think of a cooler word but this one was the most accurate.) I scour the celebrity photo agency pages on a very regular basis and every single time I do, I come across celebs wearing somewhat shocking trends (in a good way) to restaurants. Below you'll find some of my favorite recent examples, along with items you can order to replicate them yourself.
Micro Miniskirts
Miniskirts have gotten shorter than short this season, and Hailey Bieber was one of the first celebrities to show how it's done while out to lunch at Nobu Malibu.
On Hailey Bieber: Balenciaga jacket and sunglasses; Edikted Dasha Micro Skirt ($34); Prada loafers and bag; Tiffany & Co. jewelry; Emi Jay Big Effing Clip ($34)

Fuchsia
Fuchsia is the bold color trend of the season, and celebs like Rihanna are embracing it in the most high-fashion of ways.
On Rihanna: Saint Laurent Feather-Trim Knitted Mini Dress ($2290); The Attico Heeled Pointed-Toe Pumps ($608); Dries Van Noten bag
Shop the trend:
Flared Leather Pants
We're used to seeing skinny and straight-leg leather pants, but flared iterations are rather new. And based on this Kendall Jenner outfit at celebrity favorite Giorgio Baldi, it's a chic iteration.
On Kendall Jenner: Zeynep Arçay High-Rise Flared Leather Pants ($1426); The Row Half Moon Bag ($1290)
Shop the trend:
Low-Rise Cargo Pants
Leave it to Bella Hadid to be able to pull off ultra-baggy low-rise cargo pants with a crop top. Whether you choose to pair them with a crop top or not, they'll look cool no matter what.
WHO: Bella Hadid
Shop the trend:
Opera Gloves
They may not be mainstream yet, but fashion people are very into wearing opera gloves right now, Kim Kardashian included. She wore a bold Prada pair for a dinner in Milan recently.
On Kim Kardashian: Prada suit, gloves, and sunglasses; Yeezy boots
Shop the trend:
All-Denim Everything
All Canadian tuxedo jokes aside, wearing denim head to toe isn't something you see all that often, but after seeing Dua Lipa pull it off, I'm into it.
On Dua Lipa: Diesel top, jeans, boots, and bag
Shop the trend:
Sheer Catsuit
Kourtney Kardashian may have been wearing a sheer bodysuit and matching leggings, but it gives the illusion of a catsuit, which is a micro-trend that's on the rise this season (thanks to Saint Laurent, among others).
On Kourtney Kardashian: Rick Owens coat; La Perla bodysuit and leggings; Aquazzura shoes
