I Whisper Yes When a Celeb Wears These 6 Outfit Trends

I, like many of you, often turn to celebrities for primo outfit inspiration. In fact, there have been a few fashion-forward looks that I've been especially into lately. And admittedly, the outfits in question warranted a little "yessssss” whisper from me while sitting at my desk given their cool and modern nature. But rather than sit here and go on and on, I want to get right to the good stuff. Keep scrolling to check out the six outfit trends I think are worth trying, courtesy of A-listers like Jennifer Lopez, Hailey Bieber, and Katie Holmes. Plus, shop inspired pieces for each if you too are saying yes to the looks in question.
Slouchy Blazer + Graphic Sweatshirt + Leather Pants + Booties
Featuring '90s-inspired influences with the graphic crew-neck, this very right-now outfit is polished yet laid-back at the same time with the addition of the slouchy blazer and leather trousers.
On Hailey Bieber: Jil Sander Blazer ($2642); Common Leisure pants; Yeezy boots
Plaid Coat + Simple Dress + Knee-High Boots
You can’t deny the power of a statement coat as an easy way (just toss one on and go) to enhance a winter look. I’m particularly into the on-trend plaid iteration here teamed with gorgeous knee-high boots.
On Jennifer Lopez: Coach Wool Coat ($720) Day Dress ($357), and Willis Bag ($495); Jimmy Choo Mavis Boots ($1046)
Turtleneck + Bomber Jacket + Straight-Leg Jeans + Ankle Boots
While seemingly simple, there’s something so current about this outfit with the straight-leg jeans, slightly cropped bomber, and the layerable turtleneck. While just about any shoe style would work here, classic black ankle boots get the job done.
On Kendall Jenner: Magda Butrym jacket; Gucci bag
Leather Duster + Turtleneck + Skinny Jeans + Knee-High Boots
There’s something so posh about the combination of a leather duster coat on top of a classic turtleneck, skinny jeans, and knee-high boots. If you want to look sophisticated and not like you’re trying so hard, go for this.
On Chrissy Teigen: Loewe Trench ($3493); Saint Laurent Manhattan Tote ($2150); Paris Texas boots
Puffer + Textured Shirt + Wide-Leg Trousers + Booties
A monochromatic ensemble is one of those outfit trends that are just inherently chic and fashion-forward. Mix in various shades of brown and beige—like this 'fit with the wide-leg trousers, textured top, and puffer—and your look will feel even more modern.
On Ciara: Carmen March top and jacket
Turtleneck + Puff-Sleeve Top + Distressed Jeans + Ankle Boots
A a slim white turtleneck underneath a puff-sleeve blouse and paired with distressed jeans is a casual yet elegant look that feels anything but basic.
On Katie Holmes: Khaite shirt and jeans
