Celebs Are Wearing This Denim Short–and-Sneaker Outfit on Repeat

By the time summer rolls around, denim shorts are a staple in our closets and the base to so many outfits. They arguably work harder than any other summer closet staple, so finding cool new ways to wear them is always on our minds. Thankfully, celebs have been offering up one fresh outfit idea, in particular, with their denim shorts and sneakers that just feels right.

Earlier this week, Emily Ratajkowski and Kaia Gerber stepped out in near-identical outfits, making us realize that wearing denim cutoffs, classic sneakers, and a double-breasted blazer is an excellent combination. Both stars kept it simple—Gerber styled hers with a cardigan underneath and Prada's latest It bag, while Ratajkowski opted for a bodysuit and some layered necklaces. Seeing as summer's just begun, we have a feeling this isn't the last time we'll see the casual-yet-polished ensemble on celebs, fashion girls, and, pretty soon, you.
