The Shoe Style Celebrities Never Wore in the '90s
Since everyone is obsessed with what celebrities wore in the '90s, we're diligently stalking old images of celebs from that decade on a daily basis. In doing so, we make many observations, some of which are realizations about what they weren't wearing. Our latest observation is about the shoe style that they avoided, and it happens to be the most popular one of the decade we're currently in: sneakers.
Save for a few exceptions (usually in the form of Kate Moss), it was pretty blatant that celebrities were not into the streetwear look 20 years ago. But they were very into many of the other shoe trends that everyone is wearing today, as history is routinely repeating itself.
Keep on scrolling to see and shop the seven main shoe trends that celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker, Halle Berry, and Anna Wintour were wearing instead of sneakers in the '90s.
