The Hollywood Starlets I'm Turning to for Style Inspiration in 2020
As we celebrate the beginning of an entirely new decade, it only makes sense to be wondering what lies ahead. What viral trends will this new year bring? Which designers will become household names? And which stars will we be looking to for style inspiration?
There’s no denying that beloved favourites like Zoe Kravitz, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Sienna Miller and Katie Holmes will still be high on the list of celebrities whose style we love, but there are a few Hollywood starlets who deserve equal attention for their impeccable taste.
From Bel Powley to Yara Shahidi, Zendaya to Florence Pugh, the new guard of rising style stars are unafraid to experiment with style and often create looks that are entirely unique. Many of them are complete fashion chameleons, seamlessly transitioning between aesthetics from voluminous feminine gowns to expertly tailored separates.
One thing is for sure, these women are proving that there's no single way to dress well. It's all about finding your own sense of style.
Yara Shahidi
Working with celebrity stylist Jason Bolden, Yara Shahidi’s more casual looks are often just as showstopping as her red carpet moments. The 19-year-old usually favours tailored separates, but certainly knows how to rock a statement-making gown when the occasion calls for it.
Bel Powley
While Bel Powley is a fan of well-tailored suits, the star is just as likely to arrive on the red carpet wearing a whimsical gown by JW Anderson or Simone Rocha. Don't underestimate this rising star; Powley is a style chameleon who is willing to try even the most inventive looks.
Zendaya
Having worked with stylist Law Roach for a number of years, Zendaya's red carpet style has remained consistently impressive. The 23-year-old often plays with proportions and isn't afraid to wear designs that are a little outside the box.
Kristine Froseth
Beginning her career as a model, Kristine Froseth knows how to carry herself in fabulous clothes. The star, who recently became a Chanel ambassador, is often seen in feminine floral dresses and elegant tweed separates courtesy of the storied French fashion house.
Florence Pugh
Little Women star Florence Pugh has had plenty of reasons to appear on the red carpet recently. And she's made the most of every single one. Opting for statement gown, after statement gown, Pugh has solidified herself as one to watch in the style stakes.
