Fashion brand collaborations are the norm these days, but that doesn't mean that we don't get a big thrill whenever our favorite brands collaborate, which is exactly what just happened. Manolo Blahnik has joined forces with Castañer in celebration of the latter brand's 90th anniversary. Castañer is actually a Spanish brand, but it's French girls who have really put them on the map in recent years. If you follow any cool French girls on Instagram (e.g. Jeanne Damas, Sabina Socol, and Anne-Laure Mais), you've probably noticed that they wear espadrilles a lot, and nine times out of 10, they're Castañer.

While the ankle-tie pumps and flats are decidedly pricier than Castañer's typical offerings, we think that the special shoes (heeladrilles, if you will) are more than likely to sell out quickly, especially once French It girls inevitably start wearing them.
