The Airport Style at the Cannes Film Festival Is Beyond Chic
The Cannes Film Festival is perhaps one of the most glamorous Hollywood events of the year, as the biggest names from the film industry spend the fortnight in spectacular evening gowns and diamonds on the French Riviera. But it's not just the red carpet and the photocalls on the Croisette that are a fashion parade, as celebrities are also arriving at Nice Airport prepared to be photographed as they arrive in the South of France for the festival.
Tonight is the opening of the festival, and ahead of the premiere, the likes of Elle Fanning, Julianne Moore and Selena Gomez have made it through the arrivals hall. While many of us fly in jogging bottoms and a T-shirt, at Cannes, many have a smarter approach to airport style: Elle Fanning wore a cream linen suit, for example. There are a lot of nods to the destination too, as you'll see Louis Vuitton luggage, stripes and straw hats in the gallery below. Keep scrolling to see eight chic outfits we've seen so far at Nice airport this week.
Style Notes: Elle Fanning arrived at Nice airport in a beige trouser suit with a light-blue shirt and red-and-green Gucci sandals. Her luggage is perhaps the most enviable, as she has a mini red Chanel belt bag and a Louis Vuitton personalised luggage set.
