I'm 99% Confident That This New Ugg Color Will Overtake Chestnut This Winter

While Ugg's chestnut brown color option is a timeless staple, trendy new hues from the cult-favorite brand are on the rise. One of the biggest color trends of 2024 was a rich-looking burgundy that's trickled down from the runways into every corner of the industry.

The hue was specifically popular in the accessory realm, with top buys including Gucci's classic Jackie bag and Saint Laurent's Lee slingbacks. I, for one, didn't expect to see Ugg join in on the action, but now that the beloved boot brand has, I'm ready to ditch every other color available just to get my hands on a single pair. Specifically, I'm eyeing the viral Classic Mini Platform boots in the shade, a style I'm 99% confident will sell out by winter's end.

The playful color and exaggerated platform are bound to be on your favorite celebrity come 2025, whether that's Dua Lipa or Gigi Hadid, both of whom are big Ugg fans. If I had a pair, I'd style them with neutral outfits and let them be the star of the show, adding a subtle pop of color. That, or I'd go tonal and wear them with various versions of winter's richest shade.

Beyond this obvious standout, Ugg has a range of other new styles that are guaranteed to add an exciting twist to your seasonal outfit rotation. This includes rubber details, platform soles, fuzzy outers, and weatherproof materials. Shop them all below.
