Rihanna! Cate! Julia! Every Red Carpet Look From the British Fashion Awards
There is no other red carpet quite like the Fashion Awards, as this is an evening to celebrate the most creative and innovative design talent in Britain and the rest of the world. This is the one night of the year when fashion is the star of the show, offering celebs and industry giants alike the chance to show off their finest glad rags and peacock in pieces that typically wouldn't pass on your usual red carpet. This isn't a night for playing it safe in a nude fishtail gown—you're more likely to see a neon-green tulle gown than a little black dress.
This year is no different, and if anything, everyone has stepped it up a gear. As expected, we saw plenty of megastars in designer showstoppers, and, of course, the usual star-studded lineup of cool Brits. Rihanna wore a mint-green satin dress with crystal straps by Fenty, while Julia Roberts wore a sequin Armani jumpsuit. In fact, sequins were the theme of the night, as Alexa Chung wore a black sequin gown from her own collection, Rosie-Huntington Whiteley wore a gold floor-sweeper, and Sandra Oh wore an intricate purple sequin and lace gown.
Scroll down to see what everyone from Alexa Chung to Julia Roberts wore to the 2019 British Fashion Awards.
