Brad Pitt Is the Only '90s Style Icon That Matters—Hear Me Out
We have the '90s to thank for so many inspirational style icons. There's no shortage of good style moments from the decade to look back on, from Jennifer Aniston and her minimal LBDs to the epic party looks Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell served up. Considering how influential the decade has become on 2019's aesthetic, I took it upon myself to mine the feed of Instagram accounts like Nineties Anxiety, which share the best throwback celeb looks.
But instead of waxing poetic about the names you already know and love for their fashion, I'm here to talk about the celeb whose '90s style just doesn't get the credit it deserves: Brad Pitt. Everyone's favorite childhood crush was quietly crushing it with his low-key cool outfits all along, though I'm pretty sure no one picked up on it because his outfits were usually in the shadows of whoever he was dating at the time in Hollywood (Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston, to name a few).
Well, Brad, I hear you loud and clear. After taking a look at all of his best '90s outfits I could find, I realized he perfected the art of wearing wardrobe basics years ago—and it's finally time he gets the credit he deserves for styling staples like vintage denim, T-shirts, leather jackets, combat boots, and more in the coolest ways.
Keep reading to see why I'm loving Brad Pitt's '90s style lately and shop pieces to re-create his best looks.
