This Is How Real People Make Fashion Fun

This May 8–19, Who What Wear Australia presents the second annual Street Style Awards, #TheStreeties, honouring the tastemakers and industry insiders whose style sets the tone and influences the world of fashion today. Last year, Brooke Testoni was crowned the winner of the 2016 Street Style Awards, largely down to her original, authentic and creative fashion choices. Be sure to check back on May 19 for our announcement of this year's honourees.
Whether it's on or off the runway, there’s nothing more exciting than spotting fashion that's different, bold and show stopping. Case in point: The fashion crowd who gathered at Fashion Week Australia yesterday.
At day four of fashion week we saw familiar faces like Talisa Sutton, and Chloe Hill step it up a notch. Fashion week isn't necessarily a time to try out a 'crazy' look, but rather a time to play with your personal style, and let it extend one step further. The best fashion-version of yourself. There's nothing worse than wearing an outfit that you think you should wear, but feeling uncomfortable. These women know how to have fun with fashion, but still look like themselves.
It's these unique style sensibilities that epitomise fashion as a fun art form—and oh, what a joy it is to watch. Scroll down to see our favourite creative outfits from day four of Fashion Week Australia.
