Is Blake Lively Launching a Babywear Line?
Blake Lively really seems to do it all. In the past few years she's gone from starring as the trendsetting Serena van der Woodsen we all knew and loved to larger roles on the big screen, become a wife and mum-to-be, and launched her lifestyle venture Preserve, all while maintaining the most covetable red carpet, street, and pregnancy style. Now, she's reportedly adding another project to her ever-expanding pipeline: launching an infantwear line under the Preserve umbrella, called Preserve Baby.
According to Telegraph and a source who spoke with OK! Magazine, Lively sees Preserve as the perfect outlet to sell her own babywear designs. "The line will include diapers, bath and body products and infant clothing," said the source, who also revealed that Lively would like to cater to A-list clientele.
Though you can take the unconfirmed report with a grain of salt, it would make sense given the acclaim Lively has gotten for her own maternity style and how profusely she has gushed about being excited to be a mother and grow her family with husband Ryan Reynolds. She has proved herself as an entrepreneur with the creation of the Preserve brand, and has made no small mention of her desire to position herself as a modern-day Martha Stewart. We can certainly see Lively putting her stylish stamp on mummy-and-me clothing, especially for the It-babes of the fashion crowd: Perhaps North West and Blue Ivy? Here's to hoping it's true, and that if so, the line includes pint-sized capes and blanket coats à la Lively.
