Sienna Miller Just Wore the Spring Coat Trend That's All Over Zara and M&S

Spring has arrived and it's finally time to cast aside the heavy wool coats we've been bound to for months. Now, as we move into spring we're seeing the return of leather hurried into the capital. In the form of jackets, boots, bags and skirts, we love them all. But, lately, we've been eyeing up a rather large leather good: the black leather trench coat. There may be no clothing item more synonymous with British fashion than the classic trench coat, so when spring takes the helm and leather re-enters the scene, we can't help but want to merge the two.

Recently spotted styling the emerging spring trend, Sienna Miller wore a floor-length leather trench coat whilst out in Paris. Styling hers with blue wide leg jeans and leather boots, Miller followed the beloved fashion formula for trench coat styling, only substituting the material of her trench.

Also spotted sporting the growing trend, Alexa Chung recently posed outside of a London Black Cab wrapped up in her leather trench coat wearing white lace tights and knee-high leather boots.

Beloved by celebrities and influencers for its elevated silhouette, a leather trench coat adds a polished edge to a look that a cotton equivalent simply cannot match. With a light sheen and supple touch the growing spring is set to take off this season.
