Buckle Up: Shop This Season's Must-Have Belt

Trend spotting is one of my favourite things to do (along with eating a big breakfast, spotting celebrity doppelgängers, and re-watching Friends from start to finish for the 874th time), and over the past week, it’s been ALL about the prominent belt buckle. Who knew this would ever return from the '80s? I first spotted it on the street at Couture Fashion Week in Paris, and then Brooke Testoni made a very strong case in this gold buckle Topshop version. Which only means one thing—it’s definitely back.
How to wear it now? The same way it was worn originally. On high waist jeans and skirts, and to give shape to sweaters and jackets.
Keep scrolling to see the oversized belt buckles being worn and then shop our favourite styles.
