WWW Editors' Working-From-Home 'Fits Are the Perfect Combo of Comfy and Chic

At Who What Wear, our editors have been reporting for duty from home to aid in social distancing, so instead of getting dressed for the office, we’ve been putting together outfits to dial in to video chats (today, ours was hat-themed) and work remotely. For some inspiration, I asked our team to snap photos of their looks. Although it might seem trivial to think about outfits during a pandemic, fashion is something I’ve personally been looking forward to. It gives me a moment of levity and creativity and a distraction from the news.

So what are the working-from-home 'fits Who What Wear editors are wearing right now? From matching sweatpant sets to baggy jeans to cozy cardigans, our team has some looks that are the perfect combination of comfy and chic.

While I have been wearing sweatpants some days, I've found it motivating to get dressed in something closer to what I would normally wear to the office, aka jeans and a button-up. But to stay comfortable, I've been wearing loose-fitting jeans like this '90s-inspired style which practically feels like pajamas.

"These LeSet pants are my go-to for long-haul flights, so naturally they've become a WFH staple. I love that they're high-waisted, and there's a matching cardigan! Which felt like it deserved an exclamation point. I've been working with the window open to feel connected to the outside world during this time, so a double layer (turtleneck and button-down) helps ward the chill away."

I also have a sports bra on underneath the sweatshirt so that when I'm finished working I can transition right into a little at-home workout. And yes, that's Sex and the City 2 on in the background because we could all use a little something to cheer us up."

"I'm not going to lie: I'm obsessed with sweats and would wear a hoodie and leggings 24/7 if I could. That said, I've noticed I always feel better if I wear something a little bit chicer—even if it's still loungey and cozy. My apartment is always either super hot or super cold, so I like to mix and match basics like this top and these shorts from Inamorata. (If I get chilly, I just throw on a big cardigan or even a black jean jacket.) I'm obsessed with slippers and am leaning into the Ugg moment that's happening right now. And I always have my Quay blue-light-blocking glasses on hand! I have an easier time falling asleep at night if I'm diligent about wearing them for most of the day."
