Don't talk to me about clothes if they can't be described as cozy, fluffy, soft, warm, or velvety. If at least one of these boxes can be checked, we're in business. It's that time of year when I start hoarding pine-scented candles and looking for snuggly clothes as an antidote to gray skies and declining temperatures. Right now, H&M is my go-to spot to fulfill my winter fantasy—fantasy being the keyword since I live in Los Angeles.

The retailer is chock-full of cozy wares right now. We're talking sweaters in the number one color trend for fall and winter, pajamas you'll want to wear 24/7, and coats that are as practical as they are chic. Below, I've rounded up my favorite H&M pieces that simply scream "cozy." I can only hope you're scrolling through this list wearing a flannel shirt and furry slippers—but if you're not, you better get shopping ASAP.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
