5 Effortless Ways I Style My New Favorite White Top
Sponsor Content Created With AG
As I get older, I'm realizing more and more that no matter how hard I try to pull off the latest Instagram fashion trends, I still gravitate toward more wearable, classic style. So when I got to thinking about what the one staple item in my wardrobe really is, the first thing that came to mind was the bevy of white tops I own. From countless variations of button-downs and structured blouses to classic white T-shirts, I can confidently say that a white top is the pièce de résistance of my wardrobe. This made me think, how can I plan out five different outfits for this season with my new favorite white top? AG's winter collection had my answer.
The Top
As I mentioned, a white top is the bread and butter of my wardrobe thanks to its ability to make me look chic and effortlessly put-together. This light-knit version from AG has the slightly structured shoulder of a blouse yet is secretly ultra soft and comfortable, which scores major points in my book.
The Bottoms
Outfit one? Wear with this A-line corduroy miniskirt. If you're L.A.-based like I am, you can brave the "cold" and go bare-legged with a pair of lace-up booties. If you find yourself in a colder climate, this would look great with tights and over-the-knee boots plus a light turtleneck layered in for good measure.
Two words: leopard pants. Add a pair of pumps and some gold jewelry, and you have an outfit ready for any last-minute holiday event.
For a truly effortless look, I always opt for a slightly cropped pair of jeans. It also doesn't hurt that a fitted white blouse lends well to wide-leg jeans and a pair of cool, square-toe ankle boots.
If light-wash denim isn't your thing, AG's wide-leg jeans also come in this darker wash. I can see myself wearing these jeans with a Western-inspired belt and a pair of black cowboy boots.
Did you actually think skinny jeans wouldn't make the cut? The classic combo of black and white is a no-brainer for those Monday mornings when I'm running 20 minutes behind schedule. I simply throw on any one of my many favorite relaxed-fit blazers and zoom into my meetings without having to give my look a second thought.
And if I still haven't sold you on the glories of owning a white top, AG has a black version, too.

While she does love writing her fair share of fashion stories, her heart really belongs in the brainstorm room, where she has fun strategizing different ways to create content with our fashion partners so that you engage with the brands you know and love. Her style tends to be more classic (she loves a good black-and-white look with gold accessories), and white pumps are kind of her thing. If she had to pick one person's wardrobe to raid, it would be Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's, and she also has a major obsession with interior design. She's a mom to a 1-year-old baby girl named Sophie, and she fully plans on training her to spot fashion trends by the time she's 10. That's all!
