I Spent Hours Hunting Down Iconic Vintage Items and Almost Don't Want to Share
While I love diving into the latest designer runway shows and uncovering emerging brands, my other big passion point in fashion is vintage shopping. In years past, I would make a point of stopping into local vintage shops wherever I was traveling to. More recently, I’ve been hunting for vintage online, since there are no many incredible spots to find beautiful pieces. To me, vintage shopping is always an amazing way to discover unique pieces that you won’t see anyone else wearing and a chance to buy pieces you may have missed out on purchasing the first time around. Plus, it’s such a great way to shop sustainably and breathe new life into beautiful fashion pieces.
Often, the vintage pieces I buy end up being the most-worn items in my closet. Among them, a pair of black Prada mules finished with a silver zipper detail that I consider to be the ultimate wear-with-anything shoes, ‘90s Levi’s I picked up at a flea market, and a no-label blazer I found at a shop in Paris when I lived there years ago. Since I’m always on the lookout for the best vintage fashion, I wanted to share some of the new finds I’m eyeing—from $50 finds to investment buys.
The fact that this nano Louis Vuitton speedy bag even exists just makes me happy.
While many brands are replicating iconic denim from the '90s right now, here's a chance to get your hands on the real deal.
