I'm a beauty editor, and I love eye patches for many reasons, not least of which is the fact that I can use them when I have time and when I don't. Let's say I'm spending a lazy Sunday morning at home, engaging in some self-care before the start of a new week. As my hair mask soaks in my strands and my self-tanner develops on my body, I'll pop on a pair of eye patches for a soothing, spa-like element. Then, I'll take my time sipping my coffee as they go to work to refresh my tired-looking eyes.

On the flip side, let's say I woke up late on a Wednesday with five Zoom meetings ahead of me. My eyes are puffy and my dark circles are, well, circling. I pop on a pair of eye patches while I frantically brush my hair and apply just enough makeup to look presentable—concealer, blush, and eyebrow gel, if you were curious.

There aren't many skincare products that can do both. So, yeah, I always keep a small hoard of eye patches in my skincare collection. There's just nothing else that can auto-correct dark circles, puffiness, uneven texture, fine lines and wrinkles, and more. Ahead, check out the 16 best under-eye patches to use on lazy mornings and busy weekdays alike.
