The Best Summer Sandal Brands, According to Me
I've been pretty vocal about my feet and my need for them to be as comfortable and supported as possible. After an appointment with my podiatrist, who told me all the ways I could take better care of my bunions, I've severely limited the times I wear heels or boots that squish my toes together. This, as you can imagine, is frustrating for someone who worships beautifully crafted footwear. However, now that summer is around and the shoe of choice is decidedly a pair of sandals, my feet and desire for fun footwear is satiated—phew.
In the spirit of indulging in a few new pairs of sandals for the season, I rounded up my favorite brands. From classic slides in pops of color to strappy leather versions that will look oh so chic styled with a cotton shirtdress, there's a little something for everyone and at every price point.
Ancient Greek Sandals
You really can't go wrong with a pair from Ancient Greek Sandals. The ones I've splurged on in the past have lasted several summers, and they're super comfortable—win-win.
Emme Parsons
Emme Parsons is a great under-the-radar designer to snag a pair of sandals from. They're beautifully made and elevate your look.
Amanu
This sandal label is a mainstay for me thanks to the neutral hues and timeless silhouettes.
ATP Atelier
If you're all about a sleek leather sandal, then ATP Atelier should be on your speed dial.
Tkees
If you're into the flip-flop trend that's resurfaced, this is a chic brand to experiment with.
Massimo Dutti
I recently purchased a pair of raffia slides from Massimo Dutti, and the quality (especially considering the under-$100 price point) was amazing. I wear them all of the time, and they feel dressy enough to wear in the evening.
Cult Gaia
If you want to feel like you walked out of a Slim Aarons photograph, get a pair of sandals from Cult Gaia—enough said.
