I Can't Stop Wearing Knit Tops This Summer—Here Are 19 on My Wish List
As a summer person, my knitwear collection stays firmly in vacuum bags until the weather forces me to drag it back out again. Don’t get me wrong; I love a cashmere jumper as much as anyone else, but I always want summer to last as long as possible. With multiple barbecues, al fresco cocktails and outdoor gigs being high up on my agenda this season, I like my outfits to represent the fact summer mode is officially on. I have this thing for knit tops, though, so I let my seasonal rules slide for this one knitted item and keep them in my wardrobe all year round.
Rachael Clifton wears the cult Tach Clothing floral knit top (which Kendall Jenner also loves).
As a mini trend for 2022, it’s actually quite tricky not to add some form of knitted top to your wish list. Be it a crochet halterneck, a knitted bandeau or a luxe fine-knit vest top. And yes, of course, these "nice” tops all go with jeans. But as we’re in the depths of a heatwave in the UK, I will be styling mine just like Rachael did above, with lightweight linen trousers, shorts or miniskirts.
Keep scrolling to see the knit tops that deserve a place in your summer edit.

I'm seeing this tie top over a swimsuit.
This will make you happy as soon as you put it on.
Crochet everything gets the seal of approval for summer. I've got a serious soft spot for this rainbow flower top.
