20 Fire Beauty Products I Simply Can't Do Without Right Now
Sponsor Content Created With Macy's
This summer, there are some seriously fantastic beauty products out there I'd recommend you don't sleep on. You want cult-classic beauty items? Found 'em for you. Have all the classics and in the mood for a hair tool to give you Y2K-inspired waves? Figured that out, too.
Consider yourself extra lucky because I have the most stylish set to turn to any time I'm furiously adding products to my virtual cart. The women who have been my go-tos for all things fashion, beauty, and home over the course of the last few months told me that, as usual, they're shopping at Macy's for their summer beauty products. Their running list of products includes everything I want, from luxurious oils to lipsticks I would actually try this summer. Check out their recommendations below.
Natalie Cantell is our resident classic dresser, and she applies the same sensibilities of her wardrobe to her beauty routine. Is it a coincidence that each of these hard-working items will also look insanely stylish on your vanity or in your bathroom cabinet this summer? I think not.
"I was seeing Giorgio Armani's Crema Nera products popping up all over Instagram and was convinced by a co-worker it was absolutely worth the price tag. (Co-workers are the true influencers!)"
"This is the latest addition to my ever-expanding Olaplex regimen. It works great on towel-dried or the ends of my bone-dry hair."
"When I bleached my hair platinum blonde (it was amazing, I swear, but so much breakage), my hairstylist friend told me to ignore the price tag and get myself a Mason Pearson brush ASAP unless I was okay with cutting my hair short in a matter of months. I've never looked back."
"Smells like summer. I would truly buy this just for the chic bottle."
Anneliese Dominguez keeps her whole look on-trend, and we've learned over the last few months that her fashion picks are always the next to sell out. The same goes for her beauty routine. Although she keeps it simple, she does have a knack for identifying beauty trends (*ahem* a brown lip) that feel like they'll stand the test of time.
"I love anything with the word glow in it for summer. This will hydrate my skin and leave it dewy for summer selfies."
"I like to use lipstick when I go out, and hopefully, there will be a lot of that this summer."
"I'm so into this Tory Burch collab. Sunscreen is the main component of my summer beauty routine, so this is perfect."
"Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate in the summer! Not just with water but with your beauty products, too."
Leave it to Keyma Morgan to find products that will look equally as colorful on your counter as a pair of bold shoes would in your closet. The color expert leaves no product behind in her selection, which includes both a luxurious face oil and a lip product that I've been dying to try.
"A luxurious oil that I add to both my morning and evening routines is a summer must, especially for those days when I feel dry."
"Subtle highlighter and a touch of pink are the perfect additions to my makeup routine for those warm summer days."
"I keep this travel-size lip balm in my bag for any last-minute touch-ups."
"This sweet perfume is unmistakable and a great addition to make a statement this season."
If you're looking for products that will leave you feeling like you just left the beach, you're in luck. Kelsey Floyd has been my go-to for all things effortless, and her beauty picks this month are no different. Check out that hair tool when you scroll; it's seriously so cool.
"This tinted moisturizer is an amazing addition to my beauty routine because it's perfect for a light makeup look and offers a little sun protection when you need it."
"This bronzer is a cult-favorite item, and I've always loved adding it to my summer routine. I have more of an olive complexion, so I like the way it does a subtle contour on my face, keeping my look as natural as possible."
"I've always heard great things about this mascara primer and am excited to try it for dramatic lashes."
"This body cream is ideal for summer because of how dense it is. I add it to my nighttime routine, and it's especially helpful when I get a lot of sun exposure, as it keeps my skin hydrated and healthy."
"Interchangeable hair tools are so genius to me. You can use this tool as a curler or a waver, making it a great investment for your personal beauty counter."
Nayiri is Who What Wear's senior fashion editor for branded content and based in her hometown, Los Angeles. It all began in 2014 when she landed an internship at the company and never looked back. While she does love writing her fair share of fashion stories, her heart really belongs in the brainstorm room, where she has fun strategizing different ways to create content with our fashion partners so that you engage with the brands you know and love. Her style tends to be more classic (she loves a good black-and-white look with gold accessories), and white pumps are kind of her thing. If she had to pick one person's wardrobe to raid, it would be Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's, and she also has a major obsession with interior design. She's a mom to a 1-year-old baby girl named Sophie, and she fully plans on training her to spot fashion trends by the time she's 10. That's all!
