Like you would swap out your regular wardrobe when the seasons change, you might want to think about revamping your activewear, too. It's especially true if you're going from warm weather to cold weather and vice versa. I know in the summer months, if I'm breaking a sweat, I want to wear items that are super sweat-wicking and cooling. There's nothing that kills a workout like heat exhaustion and dehydration, am I right?

Fortunately, there are some pretty amazing options for activewear out there that will keep you as cool and breezy as possible during your workout. I've highlighted some below. Now, these pieces don't have built-in AC, but they are both lightweight and supportive enough to have you feeling good no matter what exercise you're doing.

Leggings

Capri-cut leggings are always a good idea when it's hot outside. These are made with medium-weight fabric and are sweat-wicking.

Wearing light clothing can help reflect light, which will keep you cool. Plus, the mesh fabric-blocking on these makes sure there's breathability.

If you need leggings for your high-impact workouts, these ones from Outdoor Voices are a great option. They're made with the brand's SuperForm fabric, which is sculpting, sweat-wicking, and stretchy.

Zella's cropped leggings are so comfy you might want to wear them while you're lounging around, too.

You won't have to worry about overheating in these leggings thanks to the mesh details down the legs.

Made for yoga or studio classes, these capris have a three-layer waistband with a mesh lining that is comfortable and won't dig into the skin.

Goodbye, sweat—these leggings are made from Lululemon's fastest-drying fabric. The pair also features side pockets and a hidden waistband pocket.

Sports Bras

The strappy details give this piece some airiness. The sports bra has plenty of support with compression fabric and a comfortable band.

Girlfriend Collective's activewear pieces are always so soft, supportive, and comfortable. This one is perfect for HIIT classes. There's also a strappy crisscross design at the back.

Here's another one for your high-impact workouts. It has breathable mesh panels for extra ventilation, too.

If you want extra coverage but don't want to wear a sports bra and then an extra layer like a tank top, this might be a good option. It's like a hybrid sports bra and tank.

This sports bra was designed with breathability in mind—it has mesh insets and is made with Nike's Dri-Fit moisture-wicking technology.

This cropped piece is made for high-intensity workouts and has a zip front. The part that makes it perfect for warmer weather is the huge cutout in the back, which provides breathability.

Tops

This loose-fitting tank helps you stay cool and comfortable during yoga classes.

The open-back mesh design on this tank will keep you cool. It works for all types of workouts.

A cropped tank will keep you cool, too. This one is fitted so you don't have to worry about any extra fabric getting in the way. It's also super soft.

This tee is all about cooling—it's made from a mesh material.

Since this easy-breezy tank has Nike's Dri-Fit fabric, you won't have to worry about staying cool and dry during your workout.

Made of super-soft and lightweight stretch-jersey, this is a piece you're going to want to wear all the time. It has a cutout panel at the back to help you cool down.

Shorts

And of course, you can also opt for shorts instead of leggings to keep you cool during your summer workouts. These high-waist biker shorts have a wide waistband and a longer inseam for more coverage.

Wear these on your next run. They have a lightweight shell, a smooth jersey lining, and an elastic mid-rise waistband.

We love the sporty red stripe on the sides of these shorts. They have a close fit so you can do your thing without worrying about extra fabric getting in the way.

Alo's shorts have two layers—a performance bottom and a micro-mesh top. You'll be so cool and comfy in these.

These compressive shorts have a 4.75-inch inseam and are made from recycled water bottles.

Outdoor Voices' Exercise Shorts are just so functional. They have a deep back pocket to stash your phone plus elastic bungees so you can stash your other layers hands-free when you get hot.
