I'm Picky, But I've Repurchased These On-Sale Beauty Gems 5 Times and Counting

It's so hard to find a solid daytime moisturizer when you run oily and acne prone. This one from French brand Avène is my favorite of all time. It staves off unwanted greasies, it doesn't clog pores, and it gives you the best hit of long-lasting, dewy hydration.

This is such an underrated product. Not only does it lace your lips with the prettiest shine and subtle tint, but it also has a special blend of ultra-nourishing ingredients like shea butter, macadamia oil, and aloe, plus rose and lavender extracts, so your lips are flooded with TLC. This is one of the few products I've tried that can *truly* revive and transform seriously chapped lips.

I'm picky with my pimple patches, but these ones from CosRx are highly effective, and I love that you get a variety of sizes in each pack.

Like so many celebs and makeup artists I've interviewed, I reach for this cult-loved French moisturizer when my skin is craving a richer face cream. (It's brilliant underneath makeup by the way!)

I switched from Latisse to this Who What Wear editor favorite, and my lashes have never looked better. I keep trying to tell myself I don't need to keep using it, but after my lashes start to go back to normal, I freak out and have to buy it again. The fluttery length is just so impressive!

In fact, I use this in lieu of retinol.

When a handful of the best facialists in the world all recommend that you incorporate a specific product into your skincare routine, you listen. Such was the case when Shani Darden and Melanie Grant both suggested I start using this yummy hydrating serum from IS Clinical. Obviously, I immediately heeded their advice, and my skin responded so positively so quickly. Not only does this hyaluronic acid– and antioxidant-packed elixir sink into your skin without leaving any residual tackiness on the skin, but it also has this cooling effect that my skin loves. To me, it's irreplaceable and perpetually at the top of my restocked beauty list.

These dual-ended cheek-and-lip sticks from Nudestix have become my go-to on days when I just want a dab of makeup. They melt so beautifully into the skin, and this color, in particular, is perfect dabbed on your cheeks and nose for the best sun-kissed effect.

This non-stripping, scalp-invigorating shampoo from Philip B. saves me every time. It's not harsh or abrasive on your strands like most clarifying formulas are, but it still manages to lift away built-up product and debris without skipping a beat. It also helps kick volume, shine, and moisture levels into overdrive, and the cooling minty-fresh sensation you get on your scalp is spa-level fantastic. It's not on sale, but you can score extra points!

I love luxurious body lotions with unholy price tags as much as the next person, but friends, you don't need to be spending more than $15 on a body moisturizer to get amazing results. This one from Weleda is deeply hydrating and leaves your skin gleaming. It's probably one of my favorite body lotions of all time. Don't sleep on it.

I think I use this handy pomade stick every single day in some capacity, and I keep a separate one in my bag at all times. It's my best-kept secret for a 10/10 slicked-back hairstyle. If you experience rampant baby hairs, flyaways, or bangs, try this pomade in stick form, and thank me later. 

A more iconic French drugstore staple—or micellar water—does not exist. I love it because it's affordable without sacrificing quality. It's especially ideal for the most sensitive of skin (even those with rosacea), and it effectively cleans skin and removes stubborn makeup without rinsing. 

Score triple points on the choice hand cream of almost everyone I know in the beauty industry. No matter how many times I try to cheat on it with another formula, I can't help myself and always find my way back to it.

Biotin makes me break out like crazy (yes, it's a thing), and since practically every hair-and-skin supplement contains gobs of it, I haven't been able to use most of the products on the market.
