Sophie Turner Just Replaced Rosie HW as My 2019 Beauty Icon

When Game of Thrones first landed on our TV screens way back in 2011, there was no way that I would have guessed straight-laced Sansa Stark would go on to become one of my favourite characters in the whole damn series and that actor Sophie Turner herself would become an icon in her own right. Specifically, for me, when it comes to her incredible beauty looks.
Yes, from her wide-leg trouser wedding day ensemble to her smokey eye red carpet look, Turner has that amazing ability to switch from edgy to classic with ease. Meaning she might just have replaced my beauty queen Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as my most-saved lady for beauty inspiration. Seriously.
Thanks, in part, to her amazing makeup artist Georgie Eisdell the past year in particular has seen Sophie Turner stepping out in some of her best beauty looks to date. So I thought it was high time that I shared some of my favourite ones with you—alongside my product recommendations for re-creating her style at home.
Keep scrolling for the best Sophie Turner beauty looks so far.
I love the contrast between Sophie's matte complexion and her subtly sparkling eyelids and sheeny lip for this sophisticated beauty look.
These gel-to-powder eye shadows are great at creating grown-up glitter eye looks. Use your finger to smooth it onto eyelids for sparkling, light-reflective lids.
Feline flicks and voluminous waves are a traditional '60s beauty style. But the graphic eyeliner and high-gloss finish keep Sophie's look modern rather than throwback.
With a creamy eyeliner at one end to define the edges of your eyes and a sultry black eye shadow at the other, you'll be able to re-create Sophie's bold eye look in minutes—and with no brushes required.
Keeping it natural with both hair and makeup, Sophie's fluffy beach waves and fluttery lashes are the perfect off-duty beauty look.
One of the best beauty tools on the market for creating natural-looking beach waves and full-on volumised curls.
It's not often that Sophie steps out in a bold lipstick, so I'm totally obsessed with this pinky-red shade that she's teamed with her paisley blouse.
These new lipsticks from Dior are infused with flower oil so they feel like a balm but with the pigment of a classic lipstick. The shade Blossom looks like a good match for Sophie's lip colour here.
Sure, Sophie's Met Gala beauty look isn't exactly subtle, but it's definitely fabulous. Who knew that slicked-back hair and glitter were a match made in beauty heaven?
While the glitter might be a bit much for every day, wet-look hair is definitely having a moment. Comb some of this nourishing gel through your hair from roots to ends for a wearable nod to the trend.
Proving that blue eyeliner can work for every day (who knew?) Sophie embraces a natural makeup look to let her colourful lines do all the talking.
This eyeliner's precise tip means that you can get super close to your lash line for a subtle pop of colour that doesn't feel too much.
Giving us major fringe inspo, Sophie's full fringe is choppy and feathered to keep it looking effortless rather than blocky. Plus, I have serious shine envy.
This multipurpose mist is infused with diamond dust to add glow to both your hair and your body. Just spray it on wherever you want to add some luminosity.
Providing all of my autumn beauty inspiration in one hit, Sophie's matchy-matchy burgundy makeup look will be everywhere next season. Just choose one berry tone and wear it on your eyes, lips and cheeks—simple.
This creamy formula blends out to a matte, natural-looking finish and can be worn sheer or layered up. This dark red wine shade looks amazing worn on eyes, cheeks and lips.
Brit girls do basic buns so well, so I love that Sophie opted for one to contrast with her glamorous makeup look. The key to making this look event-ready is wearing the bun high on your head and leaving some natural texture through the lengths.
Spray this through the roots of your hair before starting an updo to soak up excess oil if you're in between washes and to add some cool-girl texture to flyaway strands.
Next up, 8 epic beauty looks from my other makeup queen Margot Robbie.
