The Simple Trouser Trend That We Saw Everywhere at London Fashion Week
The attendees of London Fashion Week prove time and time again that they are just as influential as the shows themselves. It’s a tale as old as time: the fashion set champion an item during fashion week; said item of clothing become the hero piece of the season. This time, its slouchy trousers.
On our second stop of the fashion week crawl, we're in London. Although the shows look ahead to spring and summer, the attendees step out to launch the new season, and show the trends we're all about to wear through autumn and winter. On the city streets we saw slouchy trousers styled in a number of different ways with cosy knits, silky scarves, and striped shirts, but the most popular style was a full matching suit. If you’re shopping from the high-street, H&M always has expensive-looking styles, whilst & Other Stories has a vintage inspired pair. On the upper end of the market, the likes of Apiece Apart and Proenza Schouler are leading the way. (Personally, I’ve been eyeing up this pair from Vince).
