The Shoes You Will Never Regret Buying

Each season, there’s a new ‘It’ shoe that everyone can’t wait to get their hands on, but for me, it’s the quiet achievers that catch my eye. Not necessarily the ‘It’ shoe that everyone’s clamouring for, but the pair that I’ll wear season after season, and still get excited about slipping my feet into years later.
For this summer, I’m finally going to bite the bullet and invest in a pair of wooden heels. They return year after year, with designers like Céline and Chloé often incorporating the trend into their summer collections. When my favourite designers are endorsing a trend, that's the only justification I need.
The pair I’ll be purchasing? As soon as I spotted Yasmin Sewell at Paris Fashion Week in a Proenza Schouler version, I was sold. I’ll be wearing them with cropped denim flares (for a ‘70s vibe), or with a slip dress and blazer at work, or on weekends with a little red dress.
