Like clockwork every year, we get antsy waiting to free our toes in sandals in the warm weather, only to turn around a few months later searching for any sign of fall weather so we can slip back into boots. You can currently find us in the latter. It still feels a little premature to wear heavy leather shoes, but that hasn’t stopped us from shopping or outfit planning with jeans and autumn floral dresses. And it hasn’t stopped Instagram users either.

With the help of LiketoKnow.it, an app that connects influencers with shoppers looking to score their looks, we pinpointed the top five boot trends currently selling best. As LTK tells us, most of the below posts are recent additions to Instagram (it’s August, after all) but have already become popular—very possibly an indication these trends will stay strong through the next six months or so of boot-wearing weather.

See the specific boots that have driven the most sales on LTK below, and shop a range of more styles within these top trends.
