It's True: This Is Officially the Most Expensive-Looking Basic on Amazon
You've heard it before, but one more time can't hurt: You don't have to spend a lot on your basics to achieve an expensive-looking outfit. While some people prefer to splurge on designer basics, I'm not one of them. I'd much rather go with an affordable version for items like plain tees and tanks, so that if they stain or when they inevitably dull I don't have to think twice about restocking them. However, I can't help it if I want them to also look as elevated as possible, which is why I'm highlighting one basic that always looks luxe no matter how much you spend on it, the ribbed tee.
Whether it's a crew-neck tee, long sleeve top, or tank top, ribbing makes these basic tops feel a bit more special and will no doubt have the same effect on whatever outfit you wear them with. To show you what I mean, I've included a number of ribbed tees from Amazon—including classic tees, mock-neck tees, tank tops, and long sleeves and a few ideas on how to wear them. While none of them exceed $80, most of these options hover around $15, proving that they only look expensive. So with that, keep scrolling to shop the best ribbed tees on Amazon.
Classic white tees feel a tad more special with ribbing details.
If you're looking to elevate your summer outfits, look for a ribbed tank with a high neck.
The ultimate layering piece to wear year-round as well.
Tees that team ribbing with lettuce trim are the ultimate '90s basic.
So many A+ outfits start with a white ribbed tank.
Might as well stock up on a few different colors while you're at it (and add style to them with layered gold jewelry).
Next up, the pretty underwear basic you don't need more than $10 for.
