We Might Cheat on Zara and Get Our Winter Coats From This Affordable Store

Whether knowingly or not, most people will have particular high-street stores they go to for certain pieces in their wardrobe—perhaps it's Topshop for ankle boots or & Other Stories for printed shirts. For many years now, Zara has been Who What Wear's usual go-to for winter coats, thanks to the retailer's unfailing ability to deliver elegant trend-led pieces. However, this season has seen a new high-street store vie for the coveted top spot. Reserved first cropped up on my radar after it opened a huge flagship store on Oxford Street.

A brief browse confirmed to me that the store was destined for shopping greatness. The one thing that particularly stood out to me was their stock of stylish winter coats, from fuzzy teddy coats to tailored wool numbers. Despite almost all coming in under £100, their coats felt expensive and well cut. I tried on the checked wool-blend coat and noted how well it hung on the body and how luxe the fabric felt (no mean feat, considering its £65 price tag). I'll definitely be returning for all my autumn staples. Scroll down to see the full Reserved winter coat edit. Happy shopping.
