We've been seeing unlined, non-padded bras receive much shine on the scene right now (they're also one of my personal favorite styles, so I can't hate them!), but let's take a moment to appreciate another classic: the padded bra. Lingerie trends come and go, but padded bras are one of those pieces that will always have a place in my lingerie drawer for a few reasons: you don't have to worry about showing through thinner materials like T-shirts, and the lift they provide is really unparalleled.

Don't think padded automatically means mounds of bulky cups or inserts—there are so many levels of cushioning that the amount of extra padding is entirely up to you. Looking for only lightweight coverage that's big on comfort? Try a lightly lined bralette. Wanting a bra that will lift and contour? You'll want to go for a push-up that's heavy on the padding. Either way, there are plenty of options to go around.

Like any savvy shopper, we headed to the reviews to figure out which bras and brands are worth every penny. They're all neatly compiled here for your easy viewing pleasure, so keep clicking below to see which padded bras the internet firmly stands behind.
