A phrase that I keep hearing this month is '& Other Stories is SO good right now'—and it's a statement I whole-heartedly agree with. It's certainly the place I go for high-street pieces that feel premium and combine quality with interesting design details. & Other Stories is reliable all year long, however, I find that winter is the time when it really excels with both basics and partywear and more statement pieces.
The winter collection always includes repeat hero classics, such as the chunky cardigans with puff sleeves, lace-up ankle boots and belted wrap coats, with new colours added each season. This year the jackets are perhaps the strongest category—the wool shackets and boxy blazers have proved particularly popular with the fashion set. Other trending pieces that are a regular feature on my Instagram feed include the leather shirts, a minidress with an exaggerated '80s-style green bow on the front and the square-neck blouses with oversized sleeves.
