I Did 4 Hours of Damage at Nordstrom Today—Shop the Pieces That Made My Cart
Although the official start of spring is March 19, you can get ahead of the season by scrolling on Nordstrom's website. I always turn to the retailer when I'm trying to mix up my wardrobe and add newer pieces into my rotation. With spring fashion on my brain, I spent hours browsing the new-arrivals section and hunting down items that would be versatile in my closet and make a statement in the coming months.
Luckily, online shopping is kind of my job, and I'm happy to pass along my curated shopping cart to you if you're also in need of fashion inspiration. No gatekeeping here! Below, I rounded up 30 of the best spring pieces at Nordstrom that may or may not be currently sitting in my cart. (The hardest part is trying to narrow everything down, but I'll get there eventually.) From wide-leg pants and slip skirts to ballet flats and barrettes, there's a little bit of everything depending on how big of an overhaul you want to do. In any case, it's always fun to take a shopping break and get your ideas flowing. Keep scrolling for all my editor-approved Nordstrom finds.

From the color to the smocked texture, this shirt is a winner.
The exaggerated shape of these pants is definitely eye-catching.
These two-strap heels are super sleek. Plus, the shorter heel will actually be comfortable to walk in.
This shade of green always speaks to me. Wear this skirt with your edgiest combat boots or with lace-up sandals when the snow melts.
Spring and gingham just make so much sense together.
Throw your hair in a low ponytail and secure it with this stylish barrette at the nape of your neck.
A formfitting midi is an essential base layer for chilly spring days.

These heels are chic and comfortable. That's a winning combination if you ask me!
Perfect to wear under a blazer or over a swimsuit.
Lauren Adhav is a freelance fashion editor based in Los Angeles. Originally from Orlando, Florida, she always wanted to work at a fashion magazine. After finally getting an internship at Town & Country in 2015, she moved to New York City and continued to get her footing in the industry with stints at Cosmopolitan, W magazine, Harper's Bazaar, and Moda Operandi. In 2017, she returned to Cosmo full time, starting off as the beauty and fashion editorial assistant and working her way to fashion editor. She contributed to both the website and print issues, pitching new ideas, forecasting trends, covering red carpet events, and informing the overall coverage and brand voice. After five years in NYC, she moved to the West Coast for the sunshine and the change of pace. As a freelance fashion editor, she still contributes to Cosmo and now Who What Wear. She's always trying to get ahead of the next big trend before it goes mainstream and loves discovering fashion brands with a unique point of view (Chopova Lowena, Sandy Liang, and Bode being some of her current favorites). She also spends an unhealthy amount of time online shopping for the perfect piece, and now that she's in L.A., she's rediscovering her soft spot for malls. On the weekends, you can find her walking around the Silver Lake Reservoir, trying to catch up on her tan at Venice Beach, and probably ordering a Chinese chicken salad at Joan's on Third.
