All Our Editors Agree, These Are the Best M&S Pieces to Buy for Autumn

We Brits have long relied on Marks and Spencer. Before online shopping was even a thing, it was there for us for everything from school supplies to underwear and, of course, the all-important coats and boots. There may now be a plethora of places to turn to for your new-season wardrobe, but M&S has remained one of our favourite high-street go-tos, and for good reason. We rely on it for the essentials, but also, in recent years, the brand has stepped up its fashion game and provided us with some seriously stylish additions that boast both quality and good looks.

As a team, we’re not embarrassed to say we have a passion for scrolling through the M&S website or popping into our local store on our lunch break to browse the new-in sections. So often, we've come away with a real gem—something like the perfect jacket, leather trousers or an affordable cashmere knit—that goes on to hold a place in our wardrobes for years. Can you really blame us, then, for our rather unconventional hobby?

So as autumn 2022 gets well underway, and wardrobe refreshes and new-season shake-ups abound, we thought we’d put our talents to good use and provide you with an edit of the pieces from M&S we really love right now. There are obviously plenty of great knits and jackets, but we're also really impressed with the denim and accessory selections. Keep scrolling to shop.
