Marc Jacobs Has So Many Best-Selling Perfumes, But We'd Buy These 9 First
It's always a win when fashion brands have their own noteworthy beauty lines. Brands like Tom Ford, Chanel, Dior, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, Gucci, and more make absolutely stellar makeup, fragrance, and even body products. And the best part? I truly believe that when anyone wears these finds, they'll feel instantly put-together and chicer.
Case in point? Marc Jacobs. The brand has managed to make some pretty dang good fragrances. There's just something about a Marc Jacobs fragrance—they can be a little playful and fun, but they're definitely not juvenile or sickly sweet. They're just the right balance of fun and sophisticated. And I don't know about you, but that's what I'm going for most of the time when I'm wearing perfume.
Need more convincing? Take a look at some notable scents below.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Toilette
Daisy is probably the iconic fragrance from Marc Jacobs. It's probably why the brand has made different versions of it, too. With notes of violet leaves, wild strawberries, violet petals, jasmine bouquet, musk, and vanilla infusion, it's a scent that's cheerful and fresh.
"This is my all time favorite floral scent. I love that it’s not a floral punch in the face. The floral notes are gentle, and you also get clean hints of soap and powder. Pretty, feminine, and dreamy." — Customer review
Marc Jacobs Perfect Eau de Parfum
Perfect takes the classic floral fragrance and gives it a warm and grounding twist. Notes include rhubarb, daffodil, almond milk, cedarwood, and cashmeran.
"Absolutely a must!! It makes you smell so good and I’ve gotten so many compliments. People are always asking me what perfume I’m wearing. Not a heavy smell where it’s suffocating but the perfect about to make it last a day." — Customer review
Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau de Toilette
Another iteration of Daisy, this perfume has delicious scent of daisy tree petals, crystallized cloudberries, cashmere musk, and driftwood.
"I absolutely love this perfume and have been wearing it for the past 4 years. It’s floral and sweet. I’ve been on the hunt for a new perfume recently but I always go back to this one. One spray is enough. I got a box set that also came with the lotion and body wash which are awesome paired all together. I highly recommend this perfume and feel like anyone from a high schooler to an older person could wear this!" — Customer review
Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense Eau de Parfum
This one is a richer version of the original Perfect fragrance, so it has a little bit more warmth. It features top notes of roasted almonds, pink pepper, and pamplezest; middle notes of daffodil absolute and jasmine sambac; and base notes of sesame oil, New Caledonian sandalwood, and cashmeran.
"I got this as a gift and I’ve never gotten as many compliments out in public like I do when I wear this fragrance! It’s smells incredible and lasts all day." —Customer review
Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Eau de Toilette Spray
For something fruity and lively, check out Daisy Dream. The airy fragrance is a mix of blackberry, fresh grapefruit, succulent pear, jasmine flower, lychee, blue wisteria, white woods, musk, and coconut water.
"It’s CRAZY how amazing this smells! This is my second time buying it and it is very rare for me to repurchase a perfume. I forgot exactly how good this smells but is easily my favorite scent." — Customer review
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Eau de Toilette
This sunny iteration of Daisy has fruit and floral notes of natural raspberry, grapefruit, pear, violet, wild rose, and apple blossom. And it's all grounded with base notes of musk, cedarwood, and plum.
"I love this perfume! I get so many compliments when I wear this out. It is a very fresh, clean floral smell that isn’t too in your face. To me it smells more like a nice soap than a perfume- this comes off more natural and light than most perfumes which I love! I’ve used half the large bottle in a year because I love it so much!" — Customer review
Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet Eau de Toilette Spray
This one's for people who love a sweet fragrance. The gourmand scent has notes of white raspberry, daisy tree petals, and sugar musk.
"This is one of my absolute favorite perfumes. It is soft, sweet, summery, and very feminine. If you are looking for something strong and more in your face, this isn’t for you. It’s giving young, fruity, fresh, and fabulous!" — Customer review
Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Parfum
For fans of fruity, fun, floral scents, look no further. Marc Jacobs's Dot fragrance is described as the perfect unexpected feminine fragrance, with notes of dragonfruit, honeysuckle, coconut water, and vanilla.
"My friends roommate let me borrow a spray of this perfume and I was determined to get some of my own. I'm not one to buy a lot of perfumes because they can be pricey and over time the price usually never decreases. I was happy with my purchase and glad I splurged on myself. Everything came intact and in a timely matter." —Customer review
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Intense Eau de Parfum
One more Daisy spinoff? There can never be enough, right? This one is a deeper, richer version that's fruity florals. Notes include strawberry, pear, honey, rosebud heart, soft vanilla, and green moss.
"I was mostly indifferent to the original Marc Jacobs Daisy, but love Daisy Eau So Intense! This is a much fruitier scent compared to the original fragrance. The sweetness of this fragrance is more "natural" and fruity rather than sugary; think jammy strawberries, rather than a strawberry candy. I really enjoy the dry-down as well. The vanilla and benzoin are balanced out by a subtle green moss note, preventing the fragrance from becoming overwhelming or cloying. This fragrance lasts around 4-5 hours on my skin, with moderate sillage. If you weren't a fan of the original Daisy, or if you love fruity, softly floral fragrances, I highly recommend trying Daisy Eau So Intense!" — Customer review
