I Tried Every Single Louis Vuitton Fragrance so You Don't Have to—These 10 Are the Best
I don't think I've ever felt more luxurious than when I bust out one of my Louis Vuitton fragrances. They're truly some of the best women's perfumes. Although my budget may not allow me to snag a bag or two (a girl can dream), I can at least treat myself to a bottle of the fashion house's luscious and opulently crafted perfume. Each one is truly unlike anything I've ever smelled before and reserved for special occasions here and there.
Naturally, I'm sure you're wondering which of its scents is worthy of earning a spot on your vanity. Well, I've narrowed it down to 10. The brand was kind enough to share its best sellers with me and a few for me to try myself. Whether you love smelling like a warm day at the beach or earthy and mysterious, keep scrolling below to find the best Louis Vuitton fragrance for you.
1. Attrape-Rêves Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Cocoa, peony accord, litchi accord, patchouli heart, Turkish rose absolute, ginger, bergamot
I love the unique combination of cocoa with fresh florals that Atrappe-Rêves offers. It sparkles on the skin and feels festive with every wear.
2. Apogée Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Lily of the valley accord, jasmine from Grasse, magnolia from China, gaiac wood, sandalwood essence
There's something mysterious and unexplainably unique about this fragrance—it's definitely my top choice. For me, it's the gaiac wood. It adds a richness that makes it truly one of a kind.
3. Coeur Battant Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Pear accord, jasmine from Egypt, ylang-ylang, patchouli heart, ambrette, narcissus
I love just about anything with ylang-ylang, but adding in notes of pear accord and jasmine really takes things to new heights with this one. It's a true floral, but the patchouli notes give it a bit more depth to create something really special.
4. On the Beach Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Yuzu from Japan, neroli from Tunisia, aromatic herbs, cypress
Fresh and bright is the only way to describe this warm fragrance—it's one of my favorite offerings that I tried by far. It quite literally brings to mind sunbathing on the beach and sunscreen with aloe vera in it. I know that sounds like the last thing you would want in a fragrance, but I promise it smells beautiful.
5. Météore Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Mandarin from Italy, neroli from Tunisia, bergamot from Italy, black pepper, pink pepper from Reunion, Sichuan pepper, vetiver from Java
Earthy vetiver and spicy mandarin make up this deliciously exhilarating aroma. I love all things spicy, and this scent pulls it off in such an elegant way.
6. Heures d'Absence Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Mimosa, jasmine, rose, balsam of Peru, sandalwood, musk notes
This one took me by surprise but in a pleasant way. The balsam adds an interesting note to the fragrance, and it almost smells floral yet woody. I'd bring this on a weeklong trip to Italy for sure.
7. L'Immensité Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Fresh ginger, grapefruit, labdanum, Ambroxan, Cascalone, ambergris
Normally, you wouldn't think ginger and grapefruit would go well together in a perfume, but this scent is here to prove you wrong. I found that it's invigorating to the senses with a slight sharpness to it that will definitely make you want a second whiff.
8. Spell on You Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Iris from Florence, rose from Grasse, sambac jasmine, acacia flower from Egypt, musk
The notes of iris really sing in this one. I found it a bit strong, but if you like leaving an impression, you'll fall for this scent in a heartbeat.
9. Imagination Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Ambrox, black tea from China, Tunisian neroli, Sicilian cedar, Calabrian bergamot, Nigerian ginger, Ceylon cinnamon
Although this is touted as a traditionally masculine scent, you'll really vibe with it if you love a luscious, decadent, full-bodied fragrance.
10. California Dream Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Mandarin, ambrette, benzoin
The zesty warmth of this fragrance coincides perfectly with the name. If you're from sunny California or just want to smell like you are, this is an offering worth adding to your lineup.
