This Cult-Loved Mask Is Like an Instant Face-Lift—Celebrities Go Nuts for It
I’ll admit it: I’m a face-mask fiend. There is nothing I love more than having a bit of extra time at the end of a long day or on a Sunday afternoon and slathering on a face mask to help perfect my skin. I have a wide range of face masks in my arsenal—from mud masks to plumping, serum-soaked sheets. One common theme that you might be able to find in my collection of masks, though? Many of them are Korean.
If there’s one thing you can always count on K-beauty for, it’s absolutely incredible face masks. That’s no surprise since sheet masks are literally a product of South Korea. South Korea is one of the most innovative countries in the world when it comes to beauty, and that’s evident in the country’s face masks. There’s one beloved tightening mask that both celebrities and beauty editors go nuts for that I recommend above all the others, however, and that’s the Hanacure All-in-One face mask.
Hanacure The All-in-One Facial Starter
Hanacure The All-in-One Facial Set
Hanacure’s mask has truly taken the beauty world by storm. Think of it as the Dyson Airwrap of face masks. It sells out consistently, it has an extremely loyal cult following, and anyone who’s tried it never wants to use another face mask. Seriously, it’s that good.
Hanacure’s mask is interesting. To use it, you mix together the Octolift Gelling Solution and Octolift Lifting Serum and brush the mixture onto your face. While you let it dry, you can feel it working its magic—as in, you actually can’t move your face. It makes you resemble a zombie for 10 minutes, but the final results are more than worth it. In fact, in clinical trials, Hanacure found that 97% of participants felt their skin was tighter, firmer, and more lifted; felt their skin was clearer; and noticed a reduction in blemishes. Check out the mask in action.
Immediately after using the mask, I feel like the tightening effect stays with me. I don’t know how, but this face mask alone makes it look like I just carved out my cheekbones with bronzer, and it instantly adds tons of glow to my face.
Other Korean face masks I’ll recommend to anyone who will listen:
Dr. Jart+ Cryo Rubber Masks With Moisturizing Hyaluronic Acid
This mask uses intensely hydrating allantoin and hyaluronic acid to give you plump, dewy skin.

Glycolic and lactic acids work together to help slough off dead skin cells.

Mediheal Tea Tree Essential Blemish Control Mask
This is the most popular sheet mask in Korea, and for good reason. Not only does it calm skin, but tea tree oil also works as an astringent against blemishes.
CosRx Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask
Slather this mask on over your nighttime skincare routine for smooth, supple skin.
Franz Dual Mask System
Here’s all I have to say about this mask: I gave one to my friend for her birthday, and she loved it so much that she immediately ordered more.

TonyMoly masks are wrapped in adorable packaging, and there’s one for every occasion.
Peach & Lily Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask
