The New Killing Eve Trailer Reminded Us How Good Jodie Comer's Beauty Looks Are

The trailer for season two of Killing Eve dropped this week, and I couldn't be more excited for my favourite psychopath to get back on the silver screen. Sadly, there's no confirmed air date for UK audiences yet, so I've been busy consoling myself by revisiting some of Jodie Comer's best beauty looks instead. The first season might have cemented the character of Villanelle as something of a style icon thanks to that Molly Goddard dress, but its Comer herself who has become one to watch in the world of beauty. Scroll down for her best breakout beauty looks.

Makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan described this look as "a punchy pout for everyone's favourite assassin" at the Killing Eve press panel last week. I've been spotting this '80s-inspired beauty look all over Instagram recently and love the contrast between the bold fuchsia lip and the tousled, pushed-back hair.

Pinks, pearls and soft waves make this one beauty look that I'll be racing to recreate come spring. Keeping the brows bold and bushy means the look feels modern and takes the polish down a notch for instant cool points.

If this look doesn't prove that natural products can be glam, I don't know what will. Makeup artist Mai Quynh used skincare and makeup from Burt's Bees to create Comer's retro Golden Globes look, complete with Twiggy-style flicks.

That fringe, though. Sadly, my bangs never look this chic, but Comer's '70s-style waves will have the best of you reaching for the scissors. The secret to making this choppy, layered look work? Keeping the lengths glossy.

When it comes to great skin, Comer has it covered. Skin specialist Jasmine Vico, known in the industry for her radiance-boosting facials, worked closely with Comer during season one of Killing Eve to get her complexion looking smooth and bright. Here, just a bit of bronzer and peachy lip tint is all she needs for a beachy summer look.

Shoulder pads and smoky eyes are a match made in style heaven. It's not often that we see Comer sporting such a full-on eye look, but I'm loving the lashings of mascara and her muted rosy pout.

A red lip is always a good idea, but there's something about keeping the rest of the makeup simple that means Comer looks particularly polished here. This is the yoga skin trend done right: ultra glowy and always bare.

I'm reaching for my curling tong as we speak. I have a feeling that the perm is making something of a comeback, and when it looks this good on Comer, it's easy to see why. Major volume in both the brow and hair department and a pink stain on lips and cheeks provides serious Sweet Valley High charm.

Of course, a Jodie Comer beauty roundup wouldn't be complete without this iconic Killing Eve look. With rosy cheeks, a pretty pink lip and a cool-girl topknot, Comer is seriously killing the beauty game as Villanelle.

Okay, now you need to watch the trailer.
