I'm In My Picky Shopping Era—30 No-Regret Finds I Know I'll Wear for Years

Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one Who What Wear team member or friend of the brand will share the top 30 fashion and beauty finds on their current wish list.
As someone easily tempted by bright shiny objects, I've made my fair share of shopping mistakes. But I can't blame myself for wanting to try the latest trends—after all, I am a fashion editor. That said, I've turned over a new leaf. I've grown tired of retiring items I've only worn once or twice. It's not a great feeling, so I've recently been focusing my shopping energy (and funds) on items with longevity. Even if I won't be wearing all of these items 10 years from now, there's a lot to be said for something I can wear for at least four years.
In case we're on the same wavelength and you're also looking for a more timeless, versatile wardrobe, I'm sharing 30 items that meet that criteria. Scroll to shop my picks.
These are as investment-worthy as sandals can get. They sell out summer after summer, even years after their release.
Next up is a gorgeous summer skirt that can easily be dressed up or down.
There are a million ways to style this structured cardigan.
You can't go wrong with Wayfarers—they look good on everyone.
The styling of this linen shirt is great, but I also love it as a swimsuit cover-up.
These are even more stunning in person, and I promise you'll want to wear them every day.
As someone who prefers classic swimsuits, this chic dusty rose one speaks to me.
You'll want to carry this every day in the summer. I especially love that it fits over the shoulder.
There are a lot of white button-downs to choose from out there, but this one is supreme.
As someone who doesn't go anywhere in the summer without a jacket of some kind (because of A/C), this is a wardrobe staple.
I adore tops like this. They work for day or night and dressy or casual occasions.
People absolutely lose it over these pants—just check the Nordstrom reviews.
The skirt from Zara's sister brand looks ultra-expensive, and this color goes with everything.
This is clearly a massive investment, but I don't know if I've ever seen a more timeless bag.
I'm in shock that this stunning beaded top isn't sold out.
Why spend a ton on a trench coat when Mango makes ones as excellent as this?
Next up, 30 quiet-luxury shoes you'll be able to wear with so many outfits.
