As we recently showcased, Shadi Ojelade’s feed, @scarletkent, is one of our go-to sources for sartorial inspiration. The Austin-based influencer consistently posts outfit ideas that are highly forward and feel different from the rest. In fact, we actually reached out to Ojelade to get a sense of how she describes her style.

Her response? "Ever-evolving.” Given that personal style is a journey for a lot of us, her description is probably spot-on for many. On that note, we thought there could be interest in learning about some of the 2021 trends and items Ojelade is currently wearing or wants to try next year as she continues experimenting with her style.

With all that in mind, keep scrolling to check out the three pieces that will make it into Ojelade’s rotation, complete with a range of visual inspiration. If you’re interested in trying any of the pieces in question, you’ll also uncover a smattering of shopping inspo for each as well.
