These Fashion Girls Have Under 10K Followers But Are About to Go Viral
If your Instagram feed could use some fresh faces, you've come to the right place. I spent considerable time digging through the app to find the best dressed gems who haven't made it big yet but are bound to get noticed any second now. Below, I rounded up four of my favorite accounts that have under 10,000 followers on Instagram but are giving million-follower influencers a run for their money when it comes to inspiring outfits.
You might remember that I highlighted seven emerging influencers in back January, and my predictions came true since all of them racked up followers like crazy. Not to pat myself on the back, but I have a feeling it will be a similar story with my new picks. Scroll down to shop each of their vibes.
Fumina Tsuji
Fumina Tsuji has a knack for wearing colorful, quirky, and joyful outfits, so it's no wonder she's a fashion editor. She contributes to Japan's editions of Elle and Elle Girl from her home base in Copenhagen.
Fanta Touré
How many doctors have a sensational sense of fashion like Fanta Touré's? Hailing from Guinea and residing near Washington, D.C., she holds a doctorate in pharmacy and might as well have a Ph.D. in amazing personal style, too.
Hannah Shepherd
Hannah Shepherd has a cool '70s sensibility and can pull off cowboy boots like no other. From maxi dresses to flared jeans, she can pretty much do it all.
Jullie Jeine
Jullie Jeine's Instagram account is chock-full of beautifully photographed shots and fantastic outfit ideas. Based in France, she wears accessible brands, such as Mango, H&M, and ASOS, but makes them look like a million bucks.
Next, Jennifer Aniston and J.Lo both wore the denim trend I'm replacing skinnies with.
Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
