Where Our Editors Buy Their Prettiest Bras From
We firmly believe that every good outfit begins with great underwear. Particularly a great bra. Whether the main objective is to provide support, coverage or a secret dose of confidence, choosing the right bra is of paramount concern if you want to feel truly comfortable in what you wear over top. Just as no two bodies are the same, neither are our bra requirements. Which is why we, the Who What Wear UK team, have come together to reveal where we each find bras that make us feel amazing when we wear them, in the hope that they'll do the same for you.
From boutique designers who are experts in creating beautiful bras for those in need of larger cup sizes to the high-street stalwarts leading the way affordable lingerie charge, keep scrolling to see and shop the best fashion bras our editors swear by.
Hannah Almassi, Editor in Chief: Beija
"I discovered Beija recently thanks to their cute store in London's new shopping hub, Coal's Drop Yard in King's Cross. I had noticed on social media that other girls with bigger boobs like me were singing their praises. When you've got a bigger cup size and smaller back measurement, it can be almost impossible to find fashionable, chic attractive bras that offer you the right amount of support.
"I always seem to be offered gigantic over-shoulder-boulder-holders with thick straps, loads of coverage and in icky colours. What I love about Beija is that they subtly adapt their key styles and themes to suit different cup sizes, without losing design integrity and comfort along the way. So if you're fuller of bust, opt for their Z range, where you'll find your size in something you actually want to spend money on. I've never had a bra that felt quite as easy to wear and unobtrusive as this rose-hued bra."

Emma Spedding, Deputy Editor: Arket
"Looking for a new bra is something I really put off. It's just not very fun, is it? But a recent discovery of mine is Arket's underwear, which is perfect if you like wireless, simple cotton triangle bras. These are for those with smaller chests, as they don't have much support, but I have found them really comfortable and love how you can pick one style in plenty of colours. I started with the black but plan on buying this bra in every single colour."

Joy Montgomery, Acting Assistant Editor: & Other Stories
"As with my wardrobe, my lingerie drawer is slowly being taken over by & Other Stories, too. Its lingerie looks incredibly premium and features so many gorgeous fabrics, but the prices never fail to amaze me. The majority of my collection is made up of soft cups, but the underwire styles are just as comfortable."

Alyss Bowen, Social Media Editor: Fruity Booty
"WWW alumni Isabel introduced me to Fruity Booty a while ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Founders Hattie and Minna design beautiful pieces that not only fit perfectly but look incredible on, too. They’re also super conscious about keeping the brand as sustainable as possible, so you know each item you purchase was crafted with that in mind."

My Pick: Marks & Spencer
Like Hannah, I have a large cup size but a small back size, meaning I find it particularly difficult to find beautiful bras read: that don't look like nursing styles) that hold up in the support stakes, too. A proud 32G, I always feel most confident in a Marks & Spencer bra. The cup shapes fit me like a glove, meaning there's no risk of four-boob syndrome, and I love the fact the larger sizes don't deviate too far from the pretty designs of those smaller.
