My mother and I talk shopping quite often. Given my role as a fashion editor and her heightened interest in style, she’s often intrigued with the trends and specific items I’m into each season. And while we certainly have our disagreements (that’s for sure), we often love many of the same fashion pieces—especially when it comes to elevated basics and modern staples.
