Everyone on My Instagram Feed Is Wearing Dresses From COS, and I Can See Why

When your job is to find emerging trends and showing your fellow fashion enthusiasts each brand's seasonal must-haves, you need to be an open-minded shopper. Very rarely will I disregard a trend before trying it for myself. But admittedly, I tend to shop in certain stores for certain items. Take & Other Stories, for example. As soon as I cross its threshold (both in real life or online), I know I'll come away with one of two things: a pair of jeans or a great dress. Similarly, Mango is my one-stop shop for shoes, while Zara serves as my go-to for blazers. Lingerie? Marks and Spencer. Wardrobe staples? Arket. And so on.

The downside is that I'll sometimes enter a store with blinders on, seeking out the pieces I usually buy instead of taking in what else is on offer. But I've recently learned the error of my ways. I'm a dress girl through and through, and lately, all of the frocks I've been admiring are from one place: COS.

Previously, I'd have never considered COS a dress destination. (My COS purchases usually start and end with Breton stripes and tailored trousers.) But after discovering these styles, I know I'm going to be hooked on its frocks from here on out. I keep spotting my favourite influencers donning COS styles, and naturally, I now plan on joining them. Keep scrolling to shop my edit of the best COS dresses (plus a few are currently in the sale!)
