18 Party Outfits That Genuinely Make Me Want to Be a Celebrity
I'm not the envious type, but a recent slew of jaw-droppingly good party outfits have been coming in from celebrities lately, and it's safe to say I'd really like to own them all. Of course, it's party season all year round in the A-list world, but thanks to the particularly sumptuous trends connected to autumn/winter 2017, there seems to be a big excuse to really get the festivities started in the fashion department.
There's been no shortage of sequins (see Gigi Hadid in canary-yellow ones, no less) or scrimping on velvet (Jourdan Dunn pips everyone to the post in vintage Jean Paul Gaultier). We've seen more ruffles and metallic shoes in the last few weeks than we have in the past few years. Tulle has become as omnipresent as, well, oxygen. If you don't have a ballerina skirts and/or want to channel Carrie Bradshaw at the drop of a hat, this year isn't your year. Added to that, chainmail is back on the menu, as is anything diamanté: If you were thinking of dressing down over the Christmas party period, the gallery of starry looks below may be enough to turn you into the most attention-seeking of showgirls.
