The Celebrity Costumes That Already Won Halloween 2019
Now that Halloween has finally arrived, Hollywood's A-listers are stepping out for some Halloween festivities, attending parties such as the Casamigos-hosted soirée in Beverly Hills and, of course, Heidi Klum's annual bash—which means that we're now blessed with so many amazing celebrity costumes on Instagram.
There was Nina Dobrev's spot-on re-creation of Gigi Hadid and the Chanel runway show crasher Marie S'infiltre, and then there was Gabrielle Union's throwback Bring It On moment that has us nostalgic for the 2000s-era movie, but of all the celebrity looks that graced Instagram so far, there's only a handful that we're crowning the best. Scroll down to see our favorite celebrity Halloween costumes of 2019, according to us. With October 31 upon us (and a weekend full of post-Halloween parties to follow), it's never too late to fill up on inspiration.
Ashley Graham wore a custom Jessica Rabbit costume to Demi Lovato's Halloween party, complete with a bright-red wig and purple latex gloves.

This Halloween, Gabrielle Union made all our Bring It On dreams come true by re-creating her character's cheerleading uniform from the movie—and matching with her daughter no less.
…and then this happened.
It's not every day that celebs dress up as other celebs, but when it happens, it's always a moment. Such is the case with the first of Nina Dobrev's costumes: pop singer Billie Eilish. Loads of silver chain necklaces, goth makeup, and designer logo wares were in order.
Cindy Crawford's costumes are always a favorite, and this year, she pulled off a look that's equally as noteworthy, decked out in colorful sequins and voluminous curls as a '70s-era disco diva.
Sometimes the most classic costumes are the ones that deliver. Case in point: Jasmine Tookes as the chicest pirate we've ever seen.

Crawford isn't the only disco queen we saw this year. Singer Jhené Aiko stepped out as Foxxy Cleopatra as played by Beyoncé in Goldmember. It may be a retro look, but we could easily see her crystal top being sold by brands like Area.
Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler always pull out all the stops for their costumes—we love how much they love Halloween—and this year they went as the couple from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.
So you just bought a pair of knee boots and you want to incorporate them into your Halloween ensemble. File Lily Collins's colorful costume idea under ways to wear your trendy new boots.
Yep, the Harley Quinn costumes are still going strong in 2019 if Nicki Minaj's spot-on costume is any indication.
Paris Hilton stepped out in a lace corset number that has us reimagining our lingerie drawers.
Demi Lovato pulled out all the stops for her Marie Antoinette costume, including loads of lace ruffles, a corset bodice, lace-up booties, and a pearl choker.
When you dare to post the original image alongside your costume, you've got to be pretty confident that your own version is spot-on. And there's no denying that Shanina Shaik is a spot-on Elena in The Legend of Zorro (played by Catherine Zeta-Jones), from her choker necklace to her lace-up corset.
The '60s ruled this year's costumes more than any other decade. Amber Valletta as Twiggy is the latest look we're downright obsessed with.
Fans of the animated comedy show Rick and Morty will immediately recognize Camila Mendes's sci-fi costume.
You can never go wrong with Anna Wintour. A costume that's just as chic as it is recognizable? Take this look as all the proof you need.
Ciara and Russell Wilson re-created the magic of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's shoot inside the Louvre. To really nail the impersonation, Ciara posted a series of outfit shots at different angles to her Instagram, a true Bey power move.
It wouldn't be Halloween if no one went as a character from Mean Girls, would it? Thankfully, we don't have to entertain the thought of a Halloween without the iconic movie since Busy Philipps graced us with her Mrs. George costume, Juicy Couture velour tracksuit, camcorder, martini, and all.
Normani paid beautiful homage to Naomi Campbell by re-creating a 1995 shoot the supermodel did. Swipe to see the reference image—it's totally spot-on.
Kim Kardashian West makes a very convincing Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. She re-created not one but several iconic looks from the movie, though our favorite is still the pink-dress-and-fluffy-pen combo.
Bella Hadid went as Fred Flintstone, and the look was straight fire. Between her pixie-cut wig, bone earrings, and leather cuffs, her costume is easily one of our favorite interpretations of an animated character—well, one of our favorite costumes period.
Cardi B's Poison Ivy costume is next-level. She nailed the look with shiny green gloves, but the real star of her costume is her floor-length red wig.
Kourtney Kardashian paid homage to the country singer wearing a blonde wig, crystal-embellished cowboy hat (!), and a metallic fringe jacket.
Kids who grew up watching Kim Possible on Disney Channel know what's up. Justine Skye's costume nailed Shego, the show's evil sidekick character.
Kylie Jenner brought back a childhood classic with her Ariel costume, but her version is way better than any we ever had as kids. That seashell bra though…
Mindy Kaling did her best Brad Pitt impression, going as his character Cliff Booth from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, complete with a Hawaiian shirt, Western belt, and the exact Champion tee he wore.
Fans of The Twilight Zone will recognize Ariana Grande's costume as a reference to one of the show's episodes entitled "Eye of the Beholder," in which one of the characters undergoes a series of plastic surgery procedures in order to look "normal."
Let's not forget that horror movies are at the heart Halloween. Joan Smalls is a convincing Chucky doll in her denim overalls, striped tee, and orange wig.
Winnie Harlow showed off Barbie's sporty side, wearing a matching sports bra and tennis skirt, complete with Nike Air Max sneakers and tube socks. Can you blame us for wanting to wear this when it's not Halloween, too?
Last (but certainly not least) is a costume that fashion insiders will immediately recall from this past Paris Fashion Week. Remember when Gigi Hadid escorted a runway crasher out at the Chanel show? Nina Dobrev and friend Lane Cheek nailed the memorable moment via Chanel classics. (Swipe to see the original reference.)
