The 16 Best Celeb Beauty Looks of the Week
Welcome to Who What Wear's weekly rundown of the best celebrity beauty looks. Each week, we'll take you through our curated selection of the most enviable hair and makeup showings of the last seven days.
This week's red carpets have been absolute fire. Between the Toronto International Film Festival premieres of Hustlers and Joker, the kickoff of New York Fashion Week, and Harpers Bazaar's annual Icons party, our favorite celebs had ample opportunities to pull out all the beauty stops for the entire world to see.
Smoky eyes, bold brows, and rosy hues ruled the week, and we were surprised to see Emily Ratajkowski revive the faux-freckle trend. But when push comes to shove, our favorite look has to be Jennifer Lopez's blunt lob and otherworldly golden glow. Seriously, does she ever not look absolutely stunning?
If you're looking for some beauty ideas to inspire your aesthetic, then search no further. Keep scrolling to see the best celebrity beauty looks of the week.
WHO: Zendaya
WHAT: Lancôme Idôle Fragrance Launch, New York
WEAR: We're loving the smooth swooped bang grazing Zendaya's signature full brow.
WHO: Zazie Beetz
WHAT: Joker premiere, 2019 Toronto International Film Festival
WEAR: Everything is working here, from the flowing braids to the glistening cat eye, right down to the flawless, natural skin.
WHO: Winnie Harlow
WHAT: 2019 Harper's Bazaar Icons Party
WEAR: We're always here for an ethereal angel look, and Harlow nailed it with slick hair, glowing skin, and icy eyes.
WHO: Sophie Turner
WHAT: Heavy screening, 45th Deauville American Film Festival
WEAR: Turner served Old Hollywood glam with soft waves and black eyeliner.
WHO: Sadie Sink
WHAT: Kate Spade show, New York Fashion Week
WEAR: We love to see younger stars keeping it natural and embracing their youth. Sink did just that, tying her look together with a rosy pink lip.
WHO: Maye Musk
WHAT: 2019 Harper's Bazaar Icons Party
WEAR: Musk took a major risk with this pink gradient bob and multicolored eye makeup.
WHO: Mandy Moore
WHAT: Target 20th Anniversary Collection Party
WEAR: Moore kept it low-key with a single spiral curl framing her barely beat face. That purple winged eyeliner is the perfect pop of color.
WHO: Lily Collins
WHAT: 2019 Harper's Bazaar Icons Party
WEAR: Rosy eye makeup is always a good idea, especially paired with Collins's bold brows.
WHO: Jennifer Lopez
WHAT: Hustlers premiere, 2019 Toronto International Film Festival
WEAR: A golden goddess called J.Lo hit the festival circuit over the weekend, and she shut it down. The stick-straight blonde lob is a total vibe, as are the brassy eye makeup and dramatic lashes.
WHO: Janelle Monáe
WHAT: 2019 Harper's Bazaar Icons Party
WEAR: Monáe always gets it right, but these cascading crystal barrettes are truly next level.
WHO: Emily Ratajkowski
WHAT: 2019 Harper's Bazaar Icons Party
WEAR: Faux freckles are back! At least that's what we gather from Ratajkowski's look. We're also feeling this smoldering smoky eye and vinyl nude lip.
WHO: Ciara
WHAT: 2019 Harlem Fashion Row Awards
WEAR: These classic cornrows are just pristine, as is Ciara's metallic eye look.
WHO: Brie Larson
WHAT: Just Mercy premiere, 2019 Toronto International Film Festival
WEAR: You can't tell from the front, but Larson's hair is scooped back into a neat little bun. It's the perfect style to show off her impeccable skin.
WHO: Ashley Graham
WHAT: 2019 Harper's Bazaar Icons Party
WEAR: The embellished headband trend is going strong, and we love the way Graham added it to her razor-sharp center part.
WHO: Joan Smalls
WHAT: DKNY's 30th birthday party, New York Fashion Week
WEAR: This fiery, shimmering eye shadow coupled with intense black cat-eye liner makes for a sultry look, perfect for a night out. And of course, this top model's undone, side-swept braid adds an extra layer of that "come hither" vibe.
WHO: Ashley Benson
WHAT: DKNY's 30th birthday party, New York Fashion Week
WEAR: Benson's piercing blue eyes are doing a lot of the work, but the tight line and smoked-out shadow add depth to this quintessential New York cool-girl look.
