Bralettes Aren't Usually My Thing, But the Reviews on These 21 Are Convincing Me
I'll be honest, I never really saw the usefulness in a bralette. I normally opt for a traditional underwire bra or else forego one entirely depending on what top I wear. But like many aspects of my style that have shifted this year in the wake of the pandemic, I'm suddenly finding myself intrigued by the ease and comfort that a bralette offers. With so many of us spending far more time at home than we ever have, comfort has been key for pretty much anything we put on and that absolutely extends to in our lingerie drawers—there's just no reason for our clothes not to feel as good as they look.
With that in mind, I took a deep dive into Amazon's vast selection and spent my morning poking around in the reviews to see what shoppers really recommend. The result of my research? 21 of the best bralettes on Amazon that promise comfort and really deliver for every budget, size, and style preference. Ahead, peruse my edit to find a style (or two or three) that you'll want to live in.
The reviews on this are flooded with phrases like "literally the most comfortable bra ever" and "perfect fit" which tells me that it must be good.
You can't go wrong with this classic and celeb-approved logo band.
If this is good enough for Emily Ratajkowski...
Aside from the impressive 2,900 reviews on this pretty lace bralette, it comes in nine color options.
One reviewer put it succinctly: "My new favorite bra. I've been craving a bra-let style for a while, but at a 38-DD/40-D it hasn't been the easiest find. I got the XXL, and I am seriously in love. Soft, comfortable, and the straps don't dig in. Couldn't be happier."
This combination of silk and lace looks like it should cost far more than $16. Just saying.
How could I discuss bralettes without mentioning this iconic CK style? It's earned over 7,000 (yes, your read that right) glowing reviews from Amazon shoppers because it just doesn't get any more classic or comfy.
Just when I thought the above bra had impressive reviews, this Fruit of the Loom bra's 20k reviews made my jaw drop.
The name pure comfort promises a lot, but based on the reviews this has gotten, it delivers on that.
Take note: fashion girls are wearing bras as tops and whatever your thoughts are on the controversial trend you can't deny how comfy it is.
I'll let this reviewer speak for themselves: "The material this bra is made of is different than any other that I've encountered, and seems to be thinner near the edges, which lay flat against my skin. It stretches in all directions, so it's not pulling; and because it has no seams or hardware, it doesn't bind or dig into me. I'd give it ten stars if I could."
How beautiful is this satin? Perfect for layering underneath sweaters this fall.
When shopping for bralettes, some of the details I look out for are seamless constructions and a little bit of stretch, both of which this one check off.
Because one can never have too many lace bralettes, right? With nearly 2,000 reviewers saying how well this fits and that it's what they wear to lounge around the house, I'm sold.
For all my minimalists, these thin straps and simple triangle cut are so classic.
This also comes in a mauve and wine color, but they gray strikes me as a cool alternative to black.
Fun fact: this comes in a 4-pack and a range of neutral colors.
With thicker straps and a longline shape, this is the ideal style for lounging around the house in.
Yes, technically this is a nursing bra, but I would honestly buy it regardless because it looks great for layering.
