If You Need Black Skinny Jeans, Jennifer Lawrence and I Agree These Are the Best

Jennifer Lawrence is said to be busy wedding planning (according to US Weekly, she and fiance Cooke Maroney are getting married this month), so it would make sense that she's relying on easy fall outfits to trek around NYC these days. And for Lawrence, oftentimes those easy outfits include skinny jeans. She clearly has her pick of skinny jeans, but I was pleased to see that she chose my favorite pair to wear on two recent occasions.
Truthfully, I don't really wear skinny jeans much anymore, but I always have a couple of pairs on hand that get repeat wears with oversize sweaters and boots. Last winter I discovered Citizens of Humanity Olivia Jeans, which have a skinny (without being too skinny) fit, a high waist, and an exposed button fly. I own the jeans in a (now sold-out) blue denim wash, but Lawrence is convincing me that I need the black wash now too.
As Lawrence displayed via the outfits below, the jeans (which are quite comfortable, never stretch out, and are available on Nordstrom, I might add) look best with either a tucked-in top or one that's a bit cropped to show off the buttons and high waist. Plus, they look equally great with heels, boots, flats, and sneakers (two of which JLaw just wore them with and the others you'll just have to take my word for).
